Raewyn undertook her surgical training in NSW and Victoria. She completed her ear, nose and throat surgical training at the Prince of Wales Hospital in January 2012 and then traveled overseas to complete 3 fellowships. The first fellowship was in rhinology and skull base surgery at Auckland City and North Shore Hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand. Raewyn then moved to the United States for 2 further fellowships. The first was in rhinology and skull base surgery at The Hospital for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA. In June 2014, Raewyn moved to Columbus, Ohio to complete a skull base fellowship in one of the most advanced skull base surgery units in the world.

Raewyn currently works as a rhinologist and skull base surgeon at Royal Prince Alfred and Macquarie University Hospitals. Raewyn has published over 30 journal articles and book chapters and has presented at specialist conferences all over the world. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and ear, nose and throat trainees and teaches at rhinology and skull base courses internationally.
