Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us and the health and safety of our patients and staff is always of the upmost importance to us.
As this situation is complex and evolving rapidly, we ask that you bear with us during this time. We will continue to do our best to contact every patient in a timely manner with any changes to appointments.
Providing care:
Central Sydney ENT remains OPEN in line with the governments shutdown of non-essential services. It is important to us to be able to maintain the ability to provide care and services to patients during this time. Telehealth services are also available to all patients of the community and these services will be bulk billed.
Elective surgeries have been suspended in both private and public hospitals under the as per the Prime Ministers instruction, however we realise there are urgent cases that cannot wait and we are still happy to serve the needs of these patients.
The ENT surgeons and staff are taking extra precautions to protect themselves and patients, including:
- Wearing P2/N95 masks
- Wearing gloves
- Minimising any unnecessary close contact with patients
- We have changed our waiting room to adhere to the social distancing regulations of remaining 1.5m apart
What YOU can do to help:
We ask that if you are unwell, or have come into close contact (family member or someone in your house hold) with someone unwell that you reschedule your appointment.
As per government policy, if you have recently returned from overseas, you need to self-isolate for 14 days following your return.
When visiting the practice please continue to protect yourself and prevent spread by maintaining good hygiene (cover coughs/sneezes, regular hand washing & avoid touching your face)
