Dr Narendran Nadanachandran (who goes by Dr Naren) is a general paediatrician in Sydney. He graduated from the University of Sydney and trained in paediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney. Dr Naren has completed a Fellowship in General Paediatrics at Nepean Hospital and worked for two years as the Chief Resident Medical Officer at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where he received the award for “Staff Member of the Year” (2016) from the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.

Dr Naren has over 13 years of experience working in paediatrics. He has expertise in newborn care and common childhood illnesses including ear infections, speech delay, asthma, eczema, allergies, feeding difficulties, poor weight gain, constipation and obesity. Dr Naren also has a special interest in children with challenging behaviours (including ADHD and Autism diagnosis and treatment), learning difficulties and developmental delay. He believes very strongly in taking the time to listen to children and parents, to understand the story behind their illness and create a plan for positive health outcomes in the future.

Dr Naren works at “The Kids Practice”which is located within the offices of Central Sydney ENT (Burwood) and in Bella Vista. He is also a consultant general paediatrician at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW).

Dr Naren is excited to work alongside the Central Sydney ENT team to improve the health and wellbeing of children in the area.
